Walking is fun… but getting lost is…

Well, today being a national Holliday not much happened, so I decided to take a nice walk around the area to see if I could both find places to eat, and get to the building where my classes will be held tomorrow. While I was able to accomplish both of those I actually didn’t get a chance to eat at any of those places because well I was a little nervous to stop in and figure out what food they had. One step at a time though, eventually I’ll have to just jump into a place to see what I can find. ON the way back home I managed to get myself lost by taking a few different turns around a familiar block, this was certainly a great learning opportunity and for the first time used my phone as navigation on my own. This probably all seems ridiculously easy and yet as a student with visual impairments things can take me a lttiel longer to pick up on or use effectively.

All ended well thogh and I was able to successfully make it back home and overall had a pretty amazing walk!

Tomorrow begins classes and so to start off I’ll have a Spanish class, let’s see how this goes.
